#BigfootsRevenge Continues to Find New Fans #ScintillingSunday

Mile High Muses Graphic for Sundays

I’m excited to be part of Scintillating Sunday Showcase hosted by Mile High Muses. It’s a weekly blog hop where participants share eight paragraphs, lines or sentences from their work that are scintillating: interesting, eye catching. I happen to think that any monsterotica book is interesting, but not all do. So if you’re not into that sort of thing, I won’t be insulted if you decide to skip this post. It would be great if you’d take a chance on it and see if it’s to your liking or not before you take off. Who knows? Maybe you’ll like what you see and wish to keep reading. If so, I’d love to hear from you!

Let me set this scene up for you. This is a snippet taken right after Travis meets members of the ancient race of Bigfoot called the Forest People. He’s overheard his adopted family discussing his “Squatch” blood. He’s made it his mission to find out where he came from and why he had to be raised by a family who seemed to hate everything about him. He found Etsey, the medicine woman/Shaman of the Forest People in the Siskiyou Mountains near his home. He’s shocked she seems to know so much about him after only having met moments before.

Bigfoot-s-Revenge-book-threeShe chuckled and continued on at her brisk pace. “There is very little about you I don’t know. I’ll answer all your questions as soon as we’re out of sight from any others. No one else can know of your existence.”

“Why? What’s the big secret? I came here to find out who the fuck I am and why I was given to a family that hates everything about me.”

She spun around and hit the center of his chest with her staff. “We had no choice! You would have died within a few days of your birth if we didn’t send you there. You will hold the rest of these questions of yours until we have privacy. Understood?”

His cheeks burned with his embarrassment. “Yes, ma’am.”

“Etsey is my name. Not ma’am.”

“I was taught not to address my elders by their first name.”

“You were raised well. If you don’t wish to use my given name, you may address me as Shaman…or Grandmother.”

He stared at her and his mind blanked. His body seemed too heavy to move let alone breathe.

She raised one eyebrow and chuckled. “Don’t look so surprised, child. Who else would know so much about you if not one of your blood?”

If you want to read more, Bigfoot’s Revenge (The Bigfoot Chronicles 3) is available on all e-book vendors along with the first two books in this trilogy. Go on and give them a try! You just might find out you love the big hairy dude as much as I do!

Now make sure you check out the other authors participating in the hop this week. There are a variety of heat levels in romance and erotica for you to choose from and enjoy. Have a wonderful day!
